Throughout the year, parents and families of children who attend classes at Inner-City Arts come to our campus for culminating performances and exhibitions, celebrations and hands-on learning.
Performances and workshops for parents and families in Storytelling, Dance, Drama, Visual Art and Music celebrate the rich cultural traditions that thrive in our communities and enable students, their parents and families to discover the arts together. Weekend Institute programs include hands-on family learning. Throughout the year, live performances and film screenings in The Rosenthal Theater and exhibitions in our galleries bring together invited audiences of family and friends to support student achievement.
Through our school and community partners, parents have the opportunity to attend special workshops. Our S. Mark Taper Foundation Parent-Teacher Resource Center allows Inner-City Arts to provide increasing levels of support to students and their families.

30,000 at-risk children live within a 2.5 mile radius of Inner-City Arts.
One of our goals as an institution is to develop a powerful parent-teacher-student partnership to transform education in both the school and the home.
