Beth Tishler
Chief Impact Officer

Believing in the power of creativity and how potent the arts can be for young people in their own learning, Beth Tishler brings over 35 years of teaching and leadership experience to her work at Inner-City Arts, having worked in both the public and private sectors throughout the state of California. Beth holds a B.A. in Drama & Dance from UC Berkeley, a M.A. in Dance Education from UCLA, and a M.A. in Arts Administration from Cal State University Dominguez Hills. What was originally envisioned as a “grass-roots” effort in the 1990’s, for the past 22 years Beth has grown Inner-City Arts in potential and capacity, now serving over 10,000 students, teachers, family and community members. Having spent nine years as Inner-City Arts’ Executive Director before taking on her current role, Beth now focuses on deepening and broadening programs at the organization, expanding the Inner-City Arts community and continuing to meet the learning needs of its participants.
