Welcome to pre-registration for our Fall 2024 term of Visual, Media, & Performing Arts Institutes!
Classes take place every Saturday, Sept. 14–Nov. 23.
Please review the important details below before completing the pre-registration form.
After pre-registering with this online form, families must come in person Saturday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., to select and enroll in classes. This step is a mandatory part of the process. For questions, contact programs@inner-cityarts.org.
Students interested in Intermediate or Advanced Rock Band must have a brief musical evaluation for placement in the appropriate class. Come to Inner-City Arts on Thursday, August 29, 4:30-6:30 p.m. prepared to demonstrate your musical abilities for the instructor. You may play an Inner-City Arts instrument for the evaluation, so it is not necessary to bring your own.
During Enrollment Day, Sept. 7, staff will assist with class selection, answer questions about prerequisites, and finalize your enrollment. We will also collect these payments:

A $10 registration fee will be due for every student.

A $200 tuition per class will be due for every student unless eligible for a tuition waiver. Household qualification as low income according to state standards qualifies a student for a tuition waiver at Inner-City Arts.
All fees will be collected during in-person enrollment. If you miss Enrollment Day, you must arrange with staff to come to campus prior to the first day of class.
Work of Art interns: Please note you must attend Enrollment Day, but you will not be charged fees for your classes.
- Students, If you are filling out details for yourself, awesome! Make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as yourself.
- Parents, if you are filling out the form, make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as the student being registered.
- Once you complete the form, you will receive an email with next steps toward completing the student's class selection and enrollment in person on Sept. 7.
Please note that all art classes will be taught in English.
- August 29: Musical evaluation for students interested in Intermediate or Advanced Rock Band
- Sept. 7: Required in-person enrollment, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. All students must attend, preferably with a parent or guardian, to select classes, meet staff, and complete payments. Enrollments will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- September 14: Classes begin
- November 23: Culmination showcase for friends and family
All students are expected to be present and to participate for all days of studio instruction or to notify the Programs team in advance of any unavoidable absence due to illness or prior obligation.
