Welcome to pre-registration for our winter/spring 2026 term of Visual, Media, & Performing Arts Institutes!
Classes meet Saturdays*, Feb. 14-May 2.
(*Film Production meets both Wednesday and Saturday; Beginning Rock Band is offered either day.)
Please review the important details below before completing the pre-registration form.
After pre-registering online, students must come to our campus with a parent or guardian for Enrollment Day on Saturday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., to select and enroll in classes. This step is a mandatory part of the process.
IN-PERSON CLASS ENROLLMENT TAKES PLACE ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS. Please arrive promptly on Feb. 7 to ensure your spot.
We collect the following payments on Enrollment Day:
-
A $20 nonrefundable registration fee will be due for every student.
-
A $250 tuition per class will be due for every student unless eligible for a tuition waiver. Documented household qualification as low income according to LA County guidelines qualifies a student for a tuition waiver at Inner-City Arts. Please see our tuition waiver requirements.
All fees will be collected during in-person enrollment. If you miss Enrollment Day, you must email programs@inner-cityarts.org or call 213.627-9621 x122 to arrange a time to come to campus to enroll (based on class availability) before the first day of class, Feb. 14.
- Students, if you are filling out details for yourself, awesome! Make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as yourself.
- Parents, if you are filling out the form, make sure you answer the pre-registration questions as the student being registered.
- Once you complete the form, you will receive an email with next steps toward completing the student's class selection and enrollment in person at Inner-City Arts.
Please note that all art classes will be taught in English.
- Feb. 7: Required in-person enrollment, 10 a.m.–1 p.m. All students must attend with a parent or guardian, to select classes, meet staff, and complete payments. Enrollments will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Feb. 14: Classes begin
- May 2: Culmination showcase for friends and family
All students are expected to be present and to participate for all days of studio instruction.
