Take in an extensive, curated exhibition of visual art work available for lease, enjoy interactive media displays, and the world premiere of the new youth powered web series, Rated Z For Everyone. Engage with our paid interns while they assume their rightful place as the drivers of the Creative Economy of Los Angeles and beyond. Refreshments provided. Semi-formal attire suggested.

Youth admitted into the Work of Art program participate in mandatory year-round activities that develop them as future professional visual, media, and/or performing artists. Work of Art youth are trained and paid to create content for Inner-City Arts in their respective disciplines. That content becomes part of the Permanent Collection.

The Permanent Collection is a body of work and assets in the Media, Visual, and Performing Arts that can be used and distributed on behalf of Inner-City Arts to provide a presence and representation of youth voice in a variety of settings for multiple audiences. Assets created are intended to be distributed, published, and/ or licensed for fees, creating an a sustainable ecosystem for our youth and Inner-City Arts.

ABOUT US

Founded in 1989, Inner-City Arts offers a safe, creative space in Los Angeles where more than 200,000 children have been invited to create and explore. Inner-City Arts provides quality arts instruction for students from underserved communities, integrated arts workshops for educators, and programming designed for the community through The Rosenthal Theater.
