“We, the people, create history, dream of our future, build bridges, condemn fear, inspire hope, unite in love and equality. We, the people, must come together.”

Last week, the Inner-City Arts Repertory Dance Company wrapped another successful student dance production in The Rosenthal Theater. Titled COME TOGETHER, the production centered around unity through art and movement in order to spread hope and incite positive change as a community.

“The most powerful lesson these students learned is that creating and sharing their dance is transformative,” said Marissa Herrera, artistic director and choreographer. “Each participant and audience member was moved by their storytelling. They inspired hope, community and love. My hope is that each of them take this experience and continue to grow as leaders in their communities.”
