Born in Guatemala and raised in South Los Angeles, Giselle earned her BA in History and Education. She began to attend Inner-City Arts in 2013 as a freshman in high school, taking every dance class she could enroll in and eventually joining the Inner-City Arts Dance Company. As a program coordinator, she is responsible for communicating with various stakeholders such as principals, teachers, and other community organizers to bring access to the arts to youth. She believes art is healing and everyone deserves access to an arts education. She continues to dance and explore different art forms!
