As we near the holiday season and the end of the year, I join our team in reflecting on what a year this has been for our community, our city, and our country — and I remain hopeful. I feel empowered by the work that we do here at Inner-City Arts and by the dedication of our students, staff, volunteers, supporters and friends, who, every day, tip the scale in favor of a more positive, healthy, creative and equitable Los Angeles.

I want to share with you this quick video which reflects on all that has been accomplished here at Inner-City Arts in 2016. May it encourage you and your community as we head into another year of creativity. There is still much work to be done and I am confident that together we can envision and realize a better Los Angeles.
