Rhett & Link of Good Mythical Morning on YouTube
Mythical’s first-ever all-day livestream event will air on the company’s flagship Good Mythical Morning channel, broadcast to nearly 17 million subscribers
Los Angeles, CA, November 11, 2020—On Thursday, November 19th, the Internet’s biggest daily talk show (Rhett & Link’s Good Mythical Morning) will host a first-of-its kind all-day livestream event to raise money for Inner-City Arts. This fundraiser is Rhett & Link’s largest philanthropic undertaking in their decade-plus history on YouTube, and will run from 9am-5pm Pacific.
This debut (and likely inaugural) livestream fundraiser will feature surprise guests, beloved prior Mythical crew members, current Mythical team favorites, and contributions from the culinary stars of Mythical Kitchen, as well as new editions of fan favorite games and challenges like Wedgie Hangman, taking an ice bath, turning Link into human-sized food, and more. The duo will also bring back their popular series Song Biscuits for the occasion.

Fans will be able to interact with Rhett & Link and their guests in every segment throughout the broadcast via chat, all to spread awareness of and raise money for Inner-City Arts, an esteemed non-profit organization that provides arts education to school-age children in the Los Angeles area with the least access to resources. The cause of arts education is near and dear to Rhett & Link, who both benefited immensely from such classes as public-school students growing up in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
Mythical, whose other charitable drives in years past have benefited St. Jude, Action Against Hunger, Black Lives Matter, No Kid Hungry, the LA LGBT Center, and most recently Vote.org, has chosen to work directly with Inner-City Arts on this unprecedented (in both format and ambition) livestream because of the non-profit’s outstanding record of 30+ years transforming the lives of youth throughout LA, and especially given the heightened needs for enrichment experiences during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Mythical has worked closely with senior teams at YouTube to arrange the event, as well as Canadian startup Stage TEN, whose technology will enhance the YouTube live featureset to make donating especially easy and exciting for fans of Mythical.
