Jonathan J. Williams is a poet, performer, visual artist, public speaker, and arts educator from East Los Angeles. A published author and illustrator, Jonathan explores love, identity, and resilience through poetry, performance, and visual art. He has performed at The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, Plaza de la Raza, CASA 0101, and Netflix’s MANK, and presented his work for community organizations including Centro CSO, Partnership for Children and Youth, and CalSAC. Founder of East Los Soul, Jonathan creates programs that foster cultural pride and creativity, guiding youth and communities to tell their stories while honoring heritage, imagination, and resilience.
