Introducing a New Membership Program
membershipprogram_blog

We are excited to announce and share with you our first-ever Membership Program! Join our movement, and a growing community of dedicated supporters, to unlock the creative potential of Los Angeles’ youth by becoming an advocate for arts education.

In the coming weeks, hear from Inner-City Arts students, teaching artists, and alumni about the life-changing impact we are making every single day through quality arts education programming and what you, as members, have the opportunity to help make possible.

Ericka Hernandez is an alumna of the Visual, Media and Performing Arts Institutes and Work of Art program at Inner-City Arts. She received the Barbara Schreter Scholarship in 2016, is currently attending Santa Monica College, and has big dreams for the future.

Here’s what she had to say about how our programming inspired her:

“Inner-City Arts has shaped me into who I am. I’ve received so much love here, and have gained stronger relationships with my family, best friends and the staff at Inner-City Arts. All of them make me work at being stronger for myself.

My future plans are to go to a four-year university and pursue my studies and career in Art Therapy. I would like to provide support through the arts, to teenagers that are in need, and help them work through their own challenges.”
